Job Summary
The General Manager plans, directs, and coordinates all company operations, overseeing multiple departments and locations. Responsibilities include enacting company policy, managing daily operations, and allocating human resources and materials. This position manages through subordinate supervisors.
Essential Function & Responsibilities

Plan, direct, and coordinate operational activities to achieve organizational objectives.

Analyze proprietary information to draft and execute company policy and strategy.

Monitor daily operations and adjust operations to improve company effectiveness and procedures.

Manage budgets, expenditures, and resource allocation.

Oversee staff hiring, training, scheduling, and performance.

Ensure company compliance with regulations, laws, and company standards.

Facilitate cross-department collaboration and cohesion.

Identify and resolve company issues toward the broader company vision.

Communicate organizational goals and visions among company staff.

Administration and Management Skills for planning, directing, and evaluating organizational operations.

Personnel and Human Resource Skills for effective hiring, training, developing, and supervision of staff.

Accounting and Budgeting Skills for company financial management, cost control, and resource allocation.

Production and Operations Knowledge for an understanding of workflow processes, logistics, and operational efficiency

Sales and Marketing Skills for effective promotion of company products and potential sources of revenue.
Experience & Education:

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or business administration.

5 years of experience in logistics or related supply chain functions.

Health Certification is required.

ServSafe Certification is required.
Physical Requirement:

Most of the job is performed in an office or administrative setting, so prolonged sitting is common. Occasional standing, walking, or moving between store locations may be required.

Light lifting may be required for documents or office supplies.

Ability to read documents or computer screens is required. The ability to hear is required for meetings, phone calls, and interacting with staff.

Repeated movements such as the use of a keyboard are required for the role.
